Fees and Appointments:
Dr. Schiffman partricipates as an in-network provider for Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, QualCare, Humana, MagnaCare, Medicaid, and Medicare. He is out-of-network for all other insurance plans. Fee information and payment arrangements will be discussed at the initial evaluation. It is ultimately the patient's responsibility to make payment regardless of insurance reimbursement.
Cancelled evaluation & therapy sessions without at least 24 hours notification will result in a full session fee.
To ensure confidentiality around treatment issues such as frequency, duration, or treatment plan, out-of-pocket payment or out-of-network benefits are recommended.
